Now that your profile is set up, it's time to explore the heart of our community: Spaces!
Spaces are where the vibrant conversations and shared interests of Fleckney.Today truly come alive. As a registered user, you can dive in, create posts, and engage in discussions on a wide variety of topics.
Understanding Spaces:
- Groups & Topics: Think of each "Group" as a broader umbrella (e.g., "Sports," "Events," "Local News"), and the "Spaces" within them as dedicated rooms for specific subjects (e.g., "Fleckney Football Club," "Upcoming Local Markets," "Village Planning Discussions"). This keeps our discussions focused and easy to navigate.
- Staying on Topic: While we encourage posts within a Space to generally relate to its main subject, we understand conversations evolve! Our friendly moderators may simply suggest a different, more suitable Space if a discussion naturally branches out, ensuring everything stays easy to find for everyone.
How to Join Spaces:
Fleckney.Today offers various types of Spaces to suit different needs:
- Public Spaces: These are open to everyone! You can join freely and start participating right away.
- Private Spaces: These require approval from a Space administrator to join. You can request access, and once approved, you'll be able to see and contribute to content.
- Secret Spaces: These are by invitation only, often used for specific groups or projects. If you're invited, you'll receive a special invitation link to join.
To find and join Spaces, look for the "Spaces" section in the navigation bar. Explore the various Groups and their individual Spaces, and join the conversations that interest you most!
